For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when United Christian Academy and California Lutheran meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 6-3 win over the C-Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

United Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-5. As for California Lutheran, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethel Christian at 2:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for California Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hamilton at 2:15 p.m. on Monday.
