Volleyball Recap: Circle Christian Wins Going Away Against Trinity Christian Academy

Circle Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Centurions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

While Circle Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Circle Christian found their leader in sophomore Ella Jay Blevins, who had ten kills, eight aces, and seven digs. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Blevins.

Circle Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Circle Christian's record is now 3-15. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Circle Christian will take on Holy Cross Lutheran Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Halifax Academy on the 7th.
