Basketball Game Preview: Lake Buena Vista Vipers vs. Cypress Creek Bears

Lake Buena Vista is 0-3 against Cypress Creek since December of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Lake Buena Vista Vipers will head out on the road to challenge the Cypress Creek Bears at 7:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Lake Buena Vista ended up a good deal behind Boone and lost 70-52. The Vipers were down 61-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cypress Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 62-49 win over Tohopekaliga on Wednesday.

Cypress Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Lake Buena Vista, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.

Lake Buena Vista took a serious blow against Cypress Creek in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 68-37. Can Lake Buena Vista avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
