With a playoff win on the line, Williamstown rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Washington Township Minutemen. The win was just business as usual for the Braves, who after 30 matches remain undefeated this season.

Williamstown never let Washington Township on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-22.

Williamstown's offense was headlined by Addilynn Belcher and Peyton Wright, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Khloe Lynch and her 36 assists. Ava Carabin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Williamstown's victory bumped their record up to 30-0. As for Washington Township, they moved to 22-9 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Coming up, Williamstown will be playing at home against Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
