Washtenaw Christian Academy barely beat Bloomfield Christian School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Defenders 3-0 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Defenders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Washtenaw Christian Academy never let Bloomfield Christian School on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-8, 25-21.

Iris Konzen and Lucy Barnes certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Konzen had three aces and three assists, while Barnes had five kills, five aces, and four digs.

Bloomfield Christian School's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-1-1.

Coming up, Washtenaw Christian Academy will take on Livingston Christian at 7:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Bloomfield Christian School, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oakdale Academy on the 28th.
