Football Game Preview: Leipsic Vikings vs. Pandora-Gilboa Rockets

Leipsic is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Pandora-Gilboa is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Vikings will host the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Leipsic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 36-7 win over Mohawk. The Vikings pushed the score to 30-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pandora-Gilboa). Everything went their way against North Baltimore on Friday as they made off with a 63-42 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rockets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Tigers are ranked 241st).

Leipsic's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Leipsic didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pandora-Gilboa in their previous meeting back in September, but they still walked away with a 12-7 win.
