Volleyball Recap: Ada Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Ada had won four straight road games dating back to last season and Alyssa Madison did her part to make it five on Saturday. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Hardin Northern Polar Bears 2-1 thanks in part to Madison, who had 25 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Ada who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why Hardin Northern lost, don't look at Alaina Thomas. Despite the final result, she had 27 digs and four assists.

Ada's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Hardin Northern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ada and Hardin Northern will both be playing Arlington the next time they take the court. The Polar Bears will host the Red Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
