Volleyball Game Preview: Lewiston-Altura Cardinals vs. Centennial Cougars

The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals will be taking part in a tournament against the Centennial Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewiston-Altura is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lewiston-Altura faced off against Pine Island on Thursday. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Centennial also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Maple Grove by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Crimson: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Centennial ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Lewiston-Altura now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
