Volleyball Recap: Indian Springs Comes Up Short

Indian Springs lost against Norte Vista back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indian Springs COYOTES fell 3-1 to the Norte Vista Braves. The COYOTES have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Indian Springs ultimately came up short, they really made Norte Vista work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-15, 28-26.

When it comes to explaining why Indian Springs lost, don't look at Samuel Becerra. Despite the final result, he had 17 assists and 11 digs. That's the most digs Becerra has posted over his last eight contests.

Indian Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Norte Vista, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.

Looking ahead, Indian Springs will take on Palm Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Springs is facing Palm Valley at the right time seeing as Palm Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Norte Vista, they will face off against Rubidoux at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
