Rossville Christian Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Lausanne Collegiate, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lynx on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Lynx walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Madelyn King paced Rossville Christian Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. King got some help from Belle Blanchard and her 24 assists. Macie Wilson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Rossville Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Rossville Christian Academy will square off against White Station at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Memphis Home Education Association at 6:30 p.m. on September 2.
