Basketball Game Preview: North Lenoir Hawks vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils

North Lenoir is on a seven-game streak of home losses, South Lenoir a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The North Lenoir Hawks will welcome the South Lenoir Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, North Lenoir lost to James Kenan at home by a 56-42 margin.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir took a blow against East Duplin on Thursday, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Panthers are ranked 66th).

South Lenoir's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for North Lenoir, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

North Lenoir didn't have too much breathing room in their match against South Lenoir in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 29-23 victory.
