Football Recap: Oakes Tornadoes vs. Kindred Vikings
Friday just wasn't the day for Oakes's offense. They were outmatched by the Kindred Vikings on the road and fell 36-0. The Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Oakes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Reese Nitschke and Christopher Titus.
Oakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Kindred, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Oakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kindred, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carrington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kindred will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
