Edmonds-Woodway put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Shorewood Stormrays 53-35. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Stormrays are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Edmonds-Woodway to victory were Cam Hiatt and William Alseth. Hiatt went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and five steals, while Alseth went 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. The match was Hiatt's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dj Karl, who posted two points.

Edmonds-Woodway's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Shorewood, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edmonds-Woodway will welcome Lynnwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Edmonds-Woodway is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.6 points per game this season. As for Shorewood, they will host Archbishop Murphy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Murphy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Shorewood likes a good challenge.
