Rae'Qwon Rogers leads Bowen to victory over North Grand

The Bowen Boilermakers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against North Grand by a score of 63-51. The score was all tied up 23-23 at the break, but Bowen was the better team in the second half.

Rae'Qwon Rogers was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with six assists and four steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rashad Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Bowen's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for North Grand, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Bowen won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Goode STEM Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 9th. Goode STEM Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for North Grand, they will head out on the road to face off against Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
