Soccer Recap: Itawamba Agricultural Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Itawamba Agricultural Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the Sumrall Bobcats and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Dendy, who's now up to five this season.

Itawamba Agricultural now has a losing record at 6-7-1. As for Sumrall, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Itawamba Agricultural will be home for the holidays to greet Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sumrall will take on South Jones in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sumrall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season.
