After a string of three wins, Seminole's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes by a score of 6-5. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

JJ Baysinger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Mack McGinnis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Palm Harbor University, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Seminole didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Hollins on the 28th. As for Palm Harbor University, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-4 victory against Indian Rocks Christian on the 27th.
