Softball Recap: Silver Valley Comes Up Short

Silver Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Boron Bobcats. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Silver Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boron, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Silver Valley will host Desert Christian at 3:15 p.m. on March 11th. Desert Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.43 runs per game on average), something Silver Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Boron, they will square off against Lone Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boron will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
