Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Piles Up the Points Against Clay

Notre Dame had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clay Panthers 67-23. That looming 67-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Titans yet this season.

Notre Dame has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Clay, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Glenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Glenwood has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three contests. As for Clay, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Clay Panthers take on the Green Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
