Volleyball Recap: Cedar Bluffs Comes Up Short

Cedar Bluffs lost against College View Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Cedar Bluffs started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-11, 25-21.

Kaylee Adams paced Cedar Bluffs' offense, picking up 11 kills. Adams got some help from Taylor Hansen and her 22 assists. Kora Allmendinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Cedar Bluffs' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-11. As for College View Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Cedar Bluffs and College View Academy will both be playing Omaha Christian the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
