Basketball Recap: Mount Vernon Finds Home Court Redemption Against Ferndale

There's no place like home for Mount Vernon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Ferndale Golden Eagles 54-37 on Thursday. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 57-48 win the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Mount Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Ferndale, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Mount Vernon will venture away from home to take on Squalicum at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Ferndale, they will host Sedro-Woolley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
