Soccer Game Preview: Purcell vs. Oklahoma Christian

The Purcell Dragons will venture away from home to face off against the Oklahoma Christian Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Purcell has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Purcell came up short against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College on Tuesday, falling 11-2. Purcell have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College 9-1. Considering Oklahoma Christian have won six matchups by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Hahn (6), Brooks Watson, Jack Risner, and Hudson Hahn.

Purcell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Oklahoma Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
