Soccer Recap: Worland Comes Up Short

Worland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Torrington Trailblazers who were credited with the win. The Torrington Trailblazers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Worland Warriors' two. Worland were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Torrington apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Worland's goal came courtesy of Drew Schneider, which was the first he's scored this season.

Worland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Torrington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Worland has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Newcastle on the 5th. As for Torrington, they will welcome Rawlins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
