Soccer Game Preview: Hunters Lane vs. Cane Ridge

The Hunters Lane Warriors will face off against the Cane Ridge Ravens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hunters Lane is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Hunters Lane barely beat Lawson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Lightning a 3-0 shutout on Monday. Hunters Lane might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cane Ridge hasn't lost a match since April 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They skirted past McGavock 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cane Ridge's one-goal win came courtesy of Johnny Molina, who's now up to 16 this season.

Cane Ridge's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Hunters Lane, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-2.

Hunters Lane came out on top in a nail-biter against Cane Ridge in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
