The DASH United struggled with threes on Tuesday (the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder had 500% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. DASH took a serious blow against Chatham HomeSchool, falling 80-41. DASH has struggled against Chatham HomeSchool recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
DASH's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Workman, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Jason Judd, who scored 9 points.
Zach Johnson was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with 3 steals for Chatham HomeSchool. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of Chatham HomeSchool's points. Jacob Kirby was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
DASH's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chatham HomeSchool, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DASH will play host again and welcome South Wake, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
