            Volleyball Recap: Carolina Day Wildcats vs. Tri-Cities Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            
Carolina Day lost against Tri-Cities Christian on September 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Monday. The Wildcats lost  3-0 to the Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Carolina Day was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-22,  25-20.
 Wendy Howell paced Carolina Day's offense, picking up seven kills. Howell got some help from  Madeline Lahepelto and her 12 assists.  Caroline Callihan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
  Savannah Barb was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had eight  digs and six  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in August.  Hannah Scalf also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.
Carolina Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tri-Cities Christian, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.
 Carolina Day has already played their next contest,  a  3-1  victory against Shining Rock Classical Academy on the 23rd. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  3-0  win against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd.
