Volleyball Game Preview: Palo Verde Panthers vs. Shadow Ridge Mustangs

After both having extra time off, the Palo Verde Panthers and the Shadow Ridge Mustangs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Palo Verde is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Palo Verde is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Arbor View, who was ranked third at the time (Palo Verde was ranked fifth). The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aggies on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Foothill by a score of 2-0.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Shadow Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.

Palo Verde skirted past Shadow Ridge 2-1 in their previous matchup back in August. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
