Softball Recap: Pinon Takes a Loss

Pinon lost against St. Johns back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 16-1 to the Redskins. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Pinon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Johns, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinon will host Northland Prep Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Johns, they will be playing at home against Many Farms at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redskins are facing the Lobos at the right time seeing as the Lobos are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
