Chula Vista won the last time they faced San Pasqual and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chula Vista Spartans walked away with a 36-28 win over the San Pasqual Golden Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Chula Vista got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Giovanni Contreras out in front who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Gillespie, who earned ten points.

Chula Vista is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for San Pasqual, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chula Vista will head out to face off against Pacific Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Pasqual, they will head out on the road to challenge Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Center is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
