Volleyball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

There's no place like home for Southwest Florida Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Babcock Trailblazers 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the King's, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Southwest Florida Christian got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-13.

Journey Cook paced Southwest Florida Christian's offense, picking up 21 kills. Cook got some help from Joy Youngblood and her 28 assists. Raegan Schenone controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
