Baboquivari lost to Santa Rita back in November of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Baboquivari Warriors enjoyed a cozy 69-53 win over the Santa Rita Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Despite the loss, Santa Rita still got an impressive performance from David Gonzales, who went 6 of 12 en route to 18 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Gonzales has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of James Green, who posted nine points along with seven steals and five rebounds.

Baboquivari has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Santa Rita, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Baboquivari has already played their next game, a 58-40 victory against Patagonia on the 17th. As for Santa Rita, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-54 loss against Benson on the 16th.
