Dover moved up to 162 from 210 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in York-Adams 2. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of beating Kennard-Dale 49-13.
West York Area was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in the league. The Bulldogs vanquished Susquehannock 34-20 earlier in the week.
Fernando Flores made the biggest impact on defense this week as Northeastern fell to New Oxford. The 6-foot-2 sophomore racked up 1 sack.
Ross Campbell put up the best numbers through the air as West York Area beat the Warriors. He finished with a total of 8 completions for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns. Campbell's favorite target this week was Terry Cains, who caught 5 passes for 86 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Marcus Josey of the Bobcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 792. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cains. The West York Area star has 12 catches for 212 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Dover takes on Ron Miller's team. Eric Lam's team is currently in second, while the Bulldogs are in third.
Northeastern lost to the Colonials 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chris Whack was a bright spot for Jon Scepanski's team, as he ran for 70 yards in the loss.
