Solon is 6-1 against Hudson since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Solon Comets will square off against the Hudson Explorers at 7:00 p.m. Solon has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Hudson will come in with three straight victories.

On Saturday, Solon lost to Wadsworth at home by a 55-38 margin. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Hudson was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Tallmadge 56-29. The Explorers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Hudson, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Solon took a serious blow against Hudson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 66-37. Can Solon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
