Soccer Game Preview: Knox Central vs. Middlesboro

Knox Central hasn't had much luck against Middlesboro recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Yellowjackets at 8:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Knox Central duked it out with South Laurel on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Middlesboro lost 6-1 to Harlan County on Monday.

Knox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Middlesboro, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

Knox Central might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Middlesboro in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
