Softball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley lost against Albuquerque back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Valley lost 12-1 to Albuquerque. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Diggs, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Valley now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Albuquerque, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Valley has already played their next matchup, a 15-4 loss against St. Michael's on the 29th. As for Albuquerque, they will head out to challenge West Mesa at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Albuquerque's pitchers better be ready for this one: West Mesa has averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
