Baseball Recap: Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley Wins Going Away Against North Clarion

Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt North Clarion on Saturday. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley never let North Clarion get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The match marked Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Chase Ruth and Ryan Armagost were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Ruth tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Armagost tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Ruth a new career-high in strikeouts (five). At bat, Ruth scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Armagost went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Ruth also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
