Basketball Recap: Mid-Carolina Falls Short of Eau Claire in the Playoffs

Mid-Carolina and Eau Claire squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mid-Carolina had to settle for second. They fell 54-43 to the Eau Claire Shamrocks. The Rebels have struggled against the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Eau Claire, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Mid-Carolina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eau Claire, they will square off against Clinton on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Clinton sitting on eight straight victories and Eau Claire on five.
