Volleyball Game Preview: Swampscott Big Blue vs. Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners

Swampscott is 0-10 against Peabody Veterans Memorial since September of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Big Blue will square off against the Tanners at 5:30 p.m. Peabody Veterans Memorial took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Swampscott, who comes in off a win.

Swampscott had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Gloucester on Friday. The Big Blue were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fishermen.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Peabody Veterans Memorial lost 3-0 to Central Catholic on Friday.

While Peabody Veterans Memorial was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Peabody Veterans Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Swampscott, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
