Basketball Recap: Southwest Prep Northeast Comes Up Short

Southwest Prep Northeast played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Calvary Chapel Christian Academy Archangels, falling 87-19. The KNIGHTS were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-4.

It was another big night for Jonathan Macasadia, who shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten steals for Calvary Chapel Christian Academy. Those 27 points gave Macasadia a new career-high. Jacob Mendez was another key player, going 7 for 11 en route to 15 points.

Southwest Prep Northeast dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Calvary Chapel Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
