It was a good run, but Newcastle unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Clinton Red Tornadoes by a score of 1-0. If Newcastle were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Clinton when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newcastle's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Clinton, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Newcastle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Harding Prep on the 17th. As for Clinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Douglass on the 22nd.
