How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.

* Kimar Nelson, Fort Wayne Wayne FootballSenior had 27 tackles (12 solo), six TFL, four sacks, an interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery in a 40-34 win over Indianapolis Crispus Attucks. Also carried the ball 14 times for 74 yards, two TDs and a 2-point conversion.
* Corbin Thackery, North Decatur (Greensburg, Ind.) FootballJunior had 414 all-purpose yards and scored seven TDs four different ways in a 48-6 win over South Decatur. He carried the ball seven times for 55 yards and four TDs and had one reception for 56 yards and a TD. Also had 158 yards (and a TD) on four punt returns and 145 yards (and a TD) on two kickoff returns.
* Marco Castro, Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, Ind.) FootballSenior carried the ball 34 times for 336 yards and three TDs in a 23-0 win over Rensselaer Central.
* Christian Kramer, North Putnam (Roachdale, Ind.) FootballJunior quarterback carried the ball 30 times for 252 yards and six TDs, completed 6-of-6 passing attempts for 91 yards and ran in two 2-point conversions in a 52-20 win over North Montgomery.
* Keira Lucas, Northview (Brazil, Ind.) VolleyballSenior leads the state with 155 kills. Had a season-high 33 in a 3-1 win over Plainfield. Also has 159 digs. Has 1,686 career kills and 1,002 digs.
* Noah Moore, White River Valley (Switz City, Ind.) Boys SoccerSophomore has a state-best 22 points entering the week. Had four goals in a 9-0 win over Austin and three goals and an assist in a 7-1 win over Clarksville.
* Addison Darlage, Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, Ind.) VolleyballSenior had 44 assists in a 3-2 loss to Castle and 39 assists in a win over Center Grove. Her 194 assists leads Indiana. Has 3,244 career assists.
