Football Recap: Paul W. Bryant Comes Up Short

Paul W. Bryant fell victim to Brookwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Panthers. The Stampede were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Paul W. Bryant is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. As for Brookwood, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Paul W. Bryant will head out to square off against Tuscaloosa County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Stampede will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Brookwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
