Baseball Recap: Taylor Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Taylor challenged Crooms Academy on Tuesday. Taylor walked away with a 6-1 win over Crooms Academy. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Taylor saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andon Harcus, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Harcus a new career-high. Peyton Fender was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Crooms Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Taylor will have a chance to go back-to-back against Crooms Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
