Softball Recap: Emmaus Hornets vs. Pleasant Valley Bears
Emmaus waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Pleasant Valley Bears by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Mari Eiswerth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 14 Ks.
