Soccer Game Preview: Big Bear vs. PAL Academy

The Big Bear Bears will take on the PAL Academy Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Big Bear has four straight victories, PAL Academy has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Big Bear is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Summit Leadership Academy a 12-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Summit Leadership Academy from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Massimo Donado led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

PAL Academy played against Silver Valley and lost via forfeit.

Big Bear pushed their record up to 10-7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four matches. As for PAL Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
