Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is O'fallon's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

O'Fallon won the last time they faced East St. Louis and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Flyers by a score of 2-0.

O'Fallon easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

O'Fallon can attribute much of their success to Malia Frederking, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Frederking has posted over her last nine contests. Player #5 also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

O'Fallon has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record this season. As for East St. Louis, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-25.

Coming up, O'Fallon will face off against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East St. Louis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
