Baseball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short

Eastmark lost against ALA - Queen Creek last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Firebirds fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastmark saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Snyder, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Eastmark's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for ALA - Queen Creek, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Eastmark is set to square off against their familiar foe ALA - Gilbert North at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, ALA - Queen Creek will face off against rival Combs at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
