It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Incarnate Word Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves a 16-0 shutout. Considering the Angels have won 17 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Arisela Perez was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).
