Springstead won the last time they faced Citrus and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Springstead Eagles walked away with a 7-3 win over the Citrus Hurricanes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Billy Ward was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Tanner Henrickson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Springstead's record now sits at 7-2. As for Citrus, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Coming up, Springstead will square off against Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Citrus, they will challenge Trinity Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
