Villa Angela-St. Joseph's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Garrett Morgan Falcons as they made off with a 20-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Villa Angela-St. Joseph has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Garrett Morgan, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villa Angela-St. Joseph will host Rhodes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Garrett Morgan, they will challenge Lincoln West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
