Corinth Holders extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 18-5. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Millbrook Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 on Tuesday.

As for Millbrook, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Millbrook's part, they got a good showing from Rivers Mackinnon, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mackinnon has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Millbrook saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Mosler, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Mosler is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 6-3 (and 4-11 when he doesn't). Xander Mowbray also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
